COMPASSIONATE. EVIDENCE-BASED. PERSONALIZED CARE.
Hi, I’m Dr. Katerina Levy
I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges with resilience, hope, and evidence-based care.
As a health psychologist, I provide therapy for anxiety, depression, medical illness, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.
“ Healing is not about eliminating every challenge. It’s about discovering your strengths, building effective coping strategies, and creating a life that feels meaningful to you. ”
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My Path to This Work
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Applied Psychology from Long Island University, an APA-accredited doctoral program, after completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Michigan State University.
I completed my predoctoral internship at Broward Health Medical Center through the Nova Southeastern University South Florida Consortium in Integrated Behavioral Medicine, where I provided psychological care in pediatrics, oncology, NICU, emergency medicine, palliative care, and more.
I continued my training through fellowship at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Northwell Health, specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology and consultation-liaison psychology.
My clinical experiences have shaped my deep commitment to helping individuals and families cope with the emotional impact of illness, treatment, and life’s most challenging moments.
